Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and dedication to improving upon South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers during an engagement together with the agency's senior professionals at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.
Of your 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of your registered pupils during the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
